Some items that you may want to consider before contacting us are: 

Do you have a lesson plan with goals and objectives listed? 

Do you have a budget of what your supplies would cost? 

What do you think you would like to charge for this class? (remember that Farmington City charges a minimal administration fee, also) 

What days and times would you be willing to teach? 

What age groups are you willing to teach? 

 The last step is one of the most important -     Talk with your friends, neighbors and family and ask them if they would be interested in taking such a class and would they be willing to pay the amount that you are thinking of charging.  Running it by your family and friends is often the best way to see if your game plan will work.  Sometimes we think we have the best ideas only to find out that others don't think so.

Once you have all of your information and the program is popular among your friends, neighbors, etc.  Call the Leisure Services Office at 451-0953 x4 and ask to speak with Eric.  Ask Eric to set up a meeting with you so that the two of you can review all of your information. 

(It is also helpful if we have a brief paragraph about you that we can post on the web site and flyers to help advertise the program)
