200 South Water Project

(8-18-06) The Water Department has finished their work and the project has now been turned over to the Streets Department.
The Water Department will be installing a new and enlarged water main on 200 South just west of 200 East. An 8" diameter water main will be installed in addition to the existing 4" diameter pipe. This should greatly enhance fire protection in the neighborhood. This project will begin the week of August 7th, weather permitting. The project will take 1-2 weeks to complete.
We will make every effort to notify residents of water interruptions. It will be necessary to dig up the roads and we hope this will not be too much of an inconvenience. After the work is completed asphalt patching will be placed to repair the street. After which the Street Department has a project scheduled to overlay the entire road. We ask for your cooperation and patience during this time of construction.
