What's the latest information on UDOT's proposed Legacy North to Legacy connection?
Wednesday, August 29, 2007 - 01:38 AM
What are UDOT's alternative routes for a Legacy North to Legacy connection? What is the City's position on the matter?

Option #1
Option #2
Option #3 - UDOT's preferred option
Option #4

UDOT has advised the City that option #3 is their preferred option for the Legacy North to Legacy connection through Farmington. The City has made no decision to this point regarding the matter. A Public hearing and community meetings have been held by the City to discuss questions and concerns about the different options shown above. An independant professional engineer has been hired by the city to help in the evaluation of UDOT's options. A report by the engineer will eventually be presented to the City Council and Planning Commission for further review.

September 20, 2007
The independent engineer's report and evaluation of UDOT's proposed Legacy North to Legacy connection was presented to the City Council and Planning Commission on September 18, 2007. To see this report, please click here. The City Planning Commission has scheduled a final public hearing on the matter to consider UDOT's request to amend the City's Master Transportation Plan. The hearing is scheduled for September 27, 2007 at 7:00 pm in the City's Community Arts Center, located at 120 South Main Street. The City encourages citizens to read and study the attached report and power point presentation before attending. To see the power point presentation given at the September 18 meeting, please click here.
