Historical Zoning Maps (20% Complete)

Digitize historical zoning maps from 2002, 1994, 1989, 1984, and earlier
Make maps available on the website in PDF format

Storm Drain Network (90% Complete)

Draw all storm drain lines including pipes and open ditches.
This will help in emergency spills as well as general maintenance.

Sidewalk Trip Hazards (100% Complete)

Record all trip hazards and tiles that need replacement.
Determine where wheel chair ramps and truncated domes are needed.

Street Address & Residence Points Update (100% Complete)

Updating street centerline data attributes and geometry. Some attribute examples are: pavement width, geocoding address ranges, ROW width, classification, alternate name, and so forth.
Also updating our house addresses contained in the resident points layer.

Street Sign & Light Survey (100% Complete)

GPS aquisition (using vehicle) of all TCD's, other street signs, and street lights.

This is for insurance purposes as well as making sure that our roads stay safe.

Culinary Water Database Development and Population (100% Complete)

GPS aquisition of all utility points visible in the roadway including residential and commercial meters and valves.

Using As-Builts and Construction drawings, water lines were drawn and attributed.

Interactive Web-based City Map (100% Complete)

Citizens are now able to logon to the city's website and access an interactive city basemap. This map has the ability to zoom in and out, pan, print, search, as well as a variety of other functions.

User's are able to answer questions such as: "What is the zoning on a particular piece of property?" or "Where is Medow Brook Court?"

An interactive cemetery map is also available. This map displays information on lot availability as well as the names of the deceased.
