Nearly 90% of Farmington City's drinking water comes from three underground wells located in various locations throughout the City.  The remaining 10% comes from the Weber Basin Water Conservancy District. 

We are pleased to report to you that our drinking water is safe and meets all Federal and State requirements!



 

Weber Basin Water Conservancy District offers free landscaping classes to help you have a beautiful yard while reducing your water needs at the Learning Garden 2837 E. Hwy 193 in Layton.

Come and join us at the Weber Basin Water Conservation Learning Garden on June 6th for a Free Garden Fair.  Local experts will be present to address all your landscape, irrigation, and gardening questions.   There will be nurseries selling plants, USU extension agents to answer questions, irrigation professionals and other landscape products companies.  Enjoy the Learning Garden and get ideas for your own yard.  There will also be:<o:p></o:p>

  • Free hot dogs and drinks
  • Prize give aways-  grand prize is $500.00 of sod from Chanshare Farms<o:p></o:p>
  • Larry Sager’s and the KSL Greenhouse Show broadcasting live from the Garden<o:p></o:p>
  • Free Classes on turf and other great plants<o:p></o:p>
  • Water treatment plant tours
