700 South Water Project Date: Monday, August 21 @ 08:42:52 Topic Construction (9-7-06) The Water Department has finished their work and the project has been turned over to the streets department. The Water Department will be installing new service laterals on 700 South, West of 200 East. New water service laterals will be installed from the water main to the water meter only for homes with galvanized service laterals. Not all home will receive new laterals. This project could take up to two weeks to complete... We will make every effort to notify residents of water interruptions. It will be necessary to dig up the roads and we hope this will not be too much of an inconvenience for you. This may lead to possible road closures during work hours only. After the work is completed, asphalt patching will be placed to repair the street. After which, the Street Department has a project scheduled to overlay the entire road. We ask for your cooperation and patience during this time of construction.
