Youth City Council Application (PDF) | FYCC Constitution
The Farmington Youth City Council was created and established for the purpose of "initiating, recommending, planning and implementing activities and programs...which promote and enhance youth citizenship and volunteerism within Farmington City." Members must reside within Farmington City limits and be in at least the 9th grade, but not older than 12th grade. For questions please contact Kristen Harbertson at kharb@msn.com FYCC elects it's own leadership.
The FYCC meets on the first Thursday of each month. They are deeply involved in the community. Some of their activities are helping with Festival Days and East Egg Hunt, helping the Arts Council at Dinner theatre and ushering at plays, decorating City Hall at Christmas, and volunteering at Frodsham's Christmas Event. They are always looking for other ways to serve and be involved in the community. When they sponsor events that raise money, the proceeds are donated to the Children's Justice Center and the American Cancer Society.
